Semiconductors
The laboratory is equipped for the controlled deposition (thickness, stoichiometry, temperature, pollutants, etc ...) of almost all elementary and complex semiconductors (SC) in the form of thin films; in particular, the following are routinely deposited:
- Elements of the 4th group, Si, Ge, their alloys and compounds into microcrystalline and amorphous form.
- II-VI family, CdTe, CdS, CdSe, PbTe, PbSe, PbS, ZnS, ZnSe, ZnTe and their mixed compounds either in pure and doped form.
- Chalcopyrites Cu(In,Ga)(S,Se)2, kesterites Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 innovative materials such as ZnSn(S,Se), ZnSb(S,Se) and its compounds, In2Se3, Ga2Se3, InSe, GaSe, InS, GaS, ecc.
- Lamellar SC such as Bi2Te3, Sb2Te3, SbS3, BiS3, SbSe3, BiS3, As2Te3, AsSe3, AsS3, ecc....
